Below are a list of frequently asked questions to hopefully answer your many questions about Fall Ball. Any other questions which you have can be answered during the sign-ups at Robeson.Q: Can my child request a coach or teammate? A: no, the coaches draft teams and only the coach’s kids are guaranteed to be on the team prior to the draft.Q: What nights will my child’s team practice/play games? A: Games will be scheduled by the league organizers Monday-Friday, but practices are at the discretion of the coaches and their schedules. Weekend games may be necessary in order to reschedule postponed games.Q: Will I have to umpire or help with the league? A: In order for this league to run, volunteers are needed. Each family will be asked to umpire or help in the concession stands at least once during the season.Q: Can players from non-Champaign, Urbana and Savoy play in Fall Ball? A: Yes, but they must pay the insurance fee of $12 meaning their overall fee is $42. Because we have people coming from around the area to play in this league, teams may practice in and around C-U and Savoy. There are no guarantees you will be at your local park.Q: Can my 13 year-old play?A: No, they must have been born between either MAJOR DIVISION: May 1997 - April 2000 or MINOR: born between May 2000 - April 2003.
